What to See in Hua Hin and Things to Do

Here are some of the major attractions and activities you shouldn’t miss when you are at this holiday beach resort town situated in central Thailand.

Hua Hin Golf Resorts

Make Sure You’ve Got Some Golf Clubs!
With two incredible golf resorts within 30 minutes of Hua Hin, make sure to dedicate a day to golf at Banyan Golf Club or Black Mountain Golf Club. These golf resorts aren’t just about giving you a challenging day out on the course: you can also have a relaxing afternoon with a spa treatment, a fantastic meal, and enjoy some time in the Jacuzzi or pool. Make sure to make reservations at your preferred course as you book your trip as tee times and activity space is often limited well in advance. They may be considered pricey by some standards, but considering they are considered PGA World Class golf courses, you’ll find that you will get your money’s worth out there!

Seeing the Hua Hin Railway Station is Breathtaking

Often described as the most beautiful train station in all of Thailand, tens of thousands of visitors have gotten a glimpse of it as they pull into Hua Hin by train. It is still operating full time, so it is often packed with people, even though it is about 10 minutes outside of the center of town. Despite that, being able to take a look at the surrounding scenery and seeing the station lit up at night is definitely worth the trip to see this stunning piece of architecture.

Get Wet at Black Mountain Water Park

There are some days in Thailand can be almost overwhelmingly hot. If you happen to be visiting Hua Hin on one of those days, an afternoon at Black Mountain Water Park can cure what ails you. Dozens of water slides are all available for use, with many of them being extremely family friendly. A small floating river is available that will take you under spray mists, while a large slide can accommodate an entire family going down it at the same time. If you’re looking for time away from the beach, take advantage of the covered lounge chairs at the Water Park and spend the day with the entire family for a reasonable price!

Should I Visit Hua Hin?

With a warm sun, beautiful beaches, clean waters, and plenty of other fun activities and events that demand your attention, Hua Hin is a family friendly destination that will make you want to come back time and time again. You can feel like Thai royalty while visiting here too! If you’re planning a trip to Thailand, make sure Hua Hin is on your itinerary. There may be no better place to relax, refresh, and getaway from the busy life in Bangkok than Hua Hin which is just 2 hours away from the capital.
